Christmas Holiday 2011

Christmas break 2011!  I am so excited for my Christmas break. My plans include spending time with my family and friends and also basketball.  I have a basketball tournament two days after Christmas for two days, I hope we do good; maybe we'll finally be able to beat Madison.  My plans also include making Christmas cookies we do it every year.  I love my grandmas homemade sugar cookie recipe.  We always make our own batch of cookies but they never taste as good as when she makes them but their still edible.  I love decorating the cookies and putting different color frosting and sprinkles on them; sometime I even put faces on them, like for my snowman cookie cut-outs.  Sometimes they look to good to eat or sometimes they look better than they taste.  This year though the Ondrovick family is going to join us in our cookies making, it'll bring some great memories...I can't wait.

If I could be any Professional Musican..

If I could be any Professional Musician I would be Taylor Swift.  I would switch lives with her because she is one of the youngest musicians and has awards in a lot of things.  She can sing country, pop, she can sing just about everything and any way.  She sings about songs that all ages can relate too and understand also.  She's probably worth a lot of money too and probably has a lot of money.  So that's who I would be if I could switch places with any professional musician.

The Grand Canyon

I would love to visit the Grand Canyon.  My family and I have been talking about going to Nevada or Arizona to see the Grand Canyon.  My little brother is really hoping we do because he's always wanted to ride donkeys around the canyon.  I think it would be a nice, enjoyable, relaxing vacation.  There would be much more to do than just ride around the Grand Canyon on Donkeyes; you could go white water rafting in the river between them also, which I think would be very, very fun and thrilling.  Also, my family lives in Arizona so if we were to go and visit the Grand Canyon we would also get to stop and spend time with my family.  So very soon I hope to go visit the Grand Canyon.

Jake Luce.
Jake is my very best friend so I'm going to tell you all about him.  Jake and I are going to Sub Deb together this Saturday, December 3rd, I can't wait.  Jake is a very handsome, tall, young man.  He is a sophomore and goes to Sand Creek, he originally came from Adrian.  He came to Sand Creek the beginning of Freshmen year when I left for Adrian.  So we didn't met until i came back to Sand Creek...boo.  Jake has blond hair and blue eyes, how cute?  Well I'll tell you next week about our date to the dance.  But now you know all about my best friend Jake.  Oh one more thing, his real name isn't Jake.  Its Michael Jake Loose, but he goes by Jake.  Well that's all!

Thanksgiving!

I can't wait until Thanksgiving!  It's one of the best holidays ever where you can just eat all you want... and what's even better is I get to celebrate it twice!  I have a Thanksgiving at my Grandma Brown's house Thursday; the actual day of Thanksgiving and another dinner and my other Grandmas house on that next Saturday.  Thursday there will be a lot of desserts where Saturday there will be more dinner food, I can't wait to go to each place.  I get turkey, ham, tons of rolls and caserols and other great dinner plates.  Then the best part...dessert!  This will be a great Thanksgiving!

November 14th

Today is Loosen Up, Lighten Up Day.  Today is a good day to be Loose and Light because its a Monday, and everyone needs to loosen up and get ready to start the week off good.  If you start your week up loose and light you'll enjoy it more and since we don't have a full week its perfect to be Loosen Up, Lighten Up Day! So I hope everyone is loose and light just like I am, and have a great day; and an even better week.

Basketball Tryouts

Basketball.
Today is tryouts for JV and Varsity girls basketball.  I am very excited but nervous at the same time.
Basketball is very competitive at Sand Creek and they only want to the best on the teams.  I hope this season will be good...at least better than volleyball.  I can't wait to get on the court and shoot some balls and run some drills.  So wish me luck.
Bye.

Favorite Halloween Costume

Halloween two-thousand-eleven was yesterday.  I saw many kids yesterday dressed up to go trick-or-treating.  My favorite costume I saw was four little girls dressed up as turtle ninjas.  The costumes looked homemade.  They were each green and had a yellow belly that looked like they had "abs."  Then they each had a different colored head-band and tights to match to make them look a little different.  I thought the costumes looked very cute and it was original since they were homemade.  I might even take that idea next year and make them costumes with my friends and go trick-or-treating.

IMAGINATION STATION

This past Friday, October 21st, my Exploring Technology class; which is what I am in now and the high school anatomy class went to visit Imagination Station in Toledo Ohio.  This field trip got us out of school all day which was really nice.  We went to Imagination Station because they have the human body exhibit, we got to go in and look.  The body exhibit was very reviling; but also really interesting.  You got to see what you looked like from inside to outside.  It was kind of gross at first but then I got used to it and thought about how all of that is inside me.  But besides the body exhibit there was so much more to do.  They have different stations where you can problems solve while having tons of fun, like building plans and boats and learning how objects work.  I also watched a show that showed how Newtons 3 laws of motions worked; which was very fun.  There were so many activities to do and things to learn; the only bad part about that whole day was having to wait a while to eat lunch because the lines were so long, but it was worth it.  That was my day at Imagination Station.

The Best Present I've Ever Gotten

What is the best present I've ever received?  This is a hard question, most of my gifts since I'm older is money and gift cards nothing special.  So I am going to talk about the best present I ever got when I was little.  When I was little I was in love with dressing up and putting on my own make-up and acting like I was a "grown up".  So for Christmas when I was about six years old I got a dress up kit; it was probably the best present I'd ever gotten when I was little because I didn't have dress up clothes and my own make up; it was the first time I'd received my own make up and dress clothes and even a pair of little high heels.  I used to wear the different outfits all the time until I finally grew out of them; so that was the best present I'd ever received.

My Weekend

My weekend was very busy.  Friday I went to the Morenci Football game and they beat Clinton.  The game was very boring, there wasn't much action or excitement.  At the end of the game, the band had a "no light, glow show" it was pretty cool; something I've never seen before.  Saturday my sister came home from college, so I woke up and cleaned my rabbit cages and played with them.  Then I did some yard work since it was nice outside.  After I was done my friend Kendrick came over; we watched the Michigan Football Game together.  Sunday I went out in the woods and helped my brother set up stands to go hunting.  Then Kendrick came over again and we watched movies.  Then I did all my homework and went to bed once he left.

My 2011 Fall Homecoming

The 2011 fall homecoming was full of events this year.  We had float building all week and every day we dressed up different. I won the " best dressed " for decades day and our float (sopomores) got second place.  I think we deserved first place though. This year the powder puff game between the juniors and seniors was played during school hours the same day of our homecoming game and we got out of class to go watch it.  This was very excited all of us pumped up for the day.  The pep assembly was very funny this year; as a sophomore I got to go down and play the "shape game" with the rest of my class.  Two football coaches and teachers sung a song about "beating the bulldogs" it was very entertaining and got the whole school pumped up and cheering.  We defeated the Morenci Bulldogs 14 - 7, making our homecoming end in a great win.

Homecoming week

One week from Friday is our Fall homecoming.  For our homecoming game we play Morenci, the biggest school rival.  Both teams are 3 and 1.  So Fridays game will be a very competitive game.  Next week we dress up different on each day; for spirit war points.  This year we have a pajama day, duck tape day, decades day, color day, and green and white day.  The class with the most participation (which is according to the percent of participation in each grade) will receive spirit war points.  Homecoming week is a blast at my school, everyone gets together in there grade and builds their float, they try to encourage others to participate in the dress up days, and everyone works together to support our varsity football team.  Well good luck to all grades.
